A Little Kindness

I've had this polish sitting in my untried indies pile for FAR TOO LONG (it has many friends in a similar situation). Today I'm showing you Rainbow Honey's 'A Little Kindness'. I couldn't decide what colour I wanted to layer this amazing polish over so I've done a pastel skittle mani. Sorry for the strange finger angles, I find it really hard to hold round bottles for some reason...

Dodgy indoors lighting - but look at that beautiful pink shimmer!

The colours I've used are:
Thumb - OPI's 'Got A Date To-Knight!'
Index - China Glaze's 'Lemon Fizz'
Middle - China Glaze's 'For Audrey'
Ring - Essie's 'Bikini So Teeny'
Pinkie - OPI's 'Do You Lilac It?'

'A Little Kindness' is from Rainbow Honey's 'Equestria' Collection, which was inspired by the My Little Pony ponies. 'A Little Kindness' was inspired by Fluttershy:

Meet Fluttershy

'A Little Kindness' has rose, white, gold, and soft green glitters floating in a delicate and sheer yellow base with an iridescent pink shimmer. It's beautiful. It looks stunning with a shiny top coat, but if you want to really amplify the pink shimmer in the base try adding a matte top coat. You can buy Rainbow Honey polishes here (I also have a link on the right hand side of my page to make future access easy for you guys).

On another note, I'm using PVA glue (also known as wood glue, white glue, craft glue, or Elmers glue) as a base coat for the first time. As you may or may not have heard, PVA glue *apparently* makes a great base coat for glitter polishes as you can peel it off rather than scrubbing at your nails trying to remove all the glitter. If you want to know more about this method, I recommend checking out Alanna's blog Pretty Purple Polish where she shows you how it works and also does a longevity test. I have to say I felt a little bit insane painting my nails with glue, but I'm curious to see how it goes! I'll do an update post once I've removed this mani :)

And just for a bit of bonus fun, my mani matches my outfit!

    1. It is! I just wish my photos had shown it a little better. No photo can ever do glitter polishes justice :/
