The inspiration for this mani came from CutePolish's Cinderella nails. The thing I love about this design is that it's easy enough for beginners to try too. I was going to do a tutorial for this, but you might as well just watch CutePolish's video :)
I bought my temporary tattoos on ebay from this seller. The set contains 2 of each of the 6 main princesses for about AU$2.90. They look spotty in my photos but the print is quite smooth to the naked eye. I've used Essie's 'Blanc' as the white base for the tattoo. Normally I'd do my feature nail on my ring finger, but my middle nail is a bit longer at the moment so I put my tattoo on that finger so I could fit more of Snow White on. On my remaining fingers I've done a base of Revlon's 'Rio Mango' and done a glitter gradient using OPI's 'Gone Gonzo!'.
So, easy peasy isn't it? Who is your favourite Disney princess?
Cute design! My favorite princess was always Ariel - I loved swimming and used to spin around and pretend to be her.
ReplyDeleteHaha I think we all did that! I used to make my brother be Flounder. He usually complied...
DeleteSuch a cute idea!
ReplyDeleteThanks, but I really have to give credit to CutePolish! I'd been wanting to do Disney princess nails for awhile but when I saw her video I knew exactly what I was going to do!
DeleteCan you print a picture from the internet on regular paper and use rubbing alcohol to transfer the design?
DeleteI'm not sure, I haven't tried it. I know it works with newspaper but I'm not sure about normal printing. Might be worth a shot though, nothing ventured nothing gained! Let me know if it works :)
DeleteMy favorite is Aurora
ReplyDeleteI'm ashamed to say that I've never seen the Disney version of Sleeping Beauty. What is wrong with me!?
DeleteThis is gorgeous and really cute! I like Ariel and Jasmine :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks!
