Fans of 'Unicorn Droppings' rejoice! Gloss 'n Sparkle have released a sister polish, 'Unicorn Spawn'. I must admit I was very excited to get this order in the mail. In fact, I had a rather heated wrestling match with the bubble wrap in my excitement. And before those of you who don't live in Australia tune out at the mention of Gloss 'n Sparkle, Angela has said that she has some exciting news to share with you international ladies on Sunday (hint hint...overseas stockist!). Join the Gloss 'n Sparkle facebook page to be the first to find out who it is!

So this is 'Unicorn Spawn'. It has the same shimmery milky white base (which is super hard to photograph) as it's older sister 'Unicorn Droppings'. However, instead of those amazing vibrant rainbow coloured glitters in 'Unicorn Droppings', 'Unicorn Spawn' has pastel pink, blue, and yellow glitters. For me, this was love at first sight. You all know I love anything girly and I'm loving pastels at the moment. This is a perfect alternative to 'Unicorn Droppings' if you want a more subtle look, it reminds me of candy and cupcakes!
Above I've layered one coat of 'Unicorn Spawn' over Essie's 'Blanc' and then used Revlon's 'Blue Lagoon' to do a rough french tip. I played around with using torn tape as a mask to get this effect but found I could get a similar look by doing different stroke lengths with the brush. The formula of 'Unicorn Spawn' is the same as 'Unicorn Droppings', so check out my post here for info on that.

For those of you in Australia who want to get your hands on 'Unicorn Spawn' you can buy it from the Gloss 'n Sparkle etsy store here. Those of you overseas...stay tuned! Angela also released five new polishes yesterday so go check those out, and there are still about 10 bottles of her limited edition Halloween polish 'Witches Britches' left. I finally got around to ordering mine so cross your fingers that I have it to show you by Halloween!
So beautiful! Too bad Gloss 'n Sparkle only ships to Australia.
ReplyDeleteNot long until her polishes are available overseas though. Hang in there!
DeleteOoh, I love this one even more! I'm into anything super girly. :P
ReplyDeleteI'm SO excited to hear about the international shipping! I've loved GnS polishes for the longest time but haven't been able to get ahold of them. Just wondering how much shipping will cost me here in the U.S. Still, exciting! (The only problem is not blowing ALL of my cash and exercising some restraint! Which ones to buy first?!?)
Since the product will be coming from a supplier and not directly from Gloss 'n Sparkle I don't think shipping for you should be too expensive. I think shipping from most suppliers is usually fairly reasonable. But we'll have to wait and see who the supplier is! I have the same problem showing restraint, so I usually limit myself to 3 polishes per order. Makes it hard to pick just 3 at a time though!
